Migrant workers works
Migrant workers are people like you and me: with their own story, own dreams and ambitions. We’ve created a short documentary series following the stories of three migrant workers.
They move to the Netherlands to make their dreams come true. Some of the Dutch citizens are quite concerned about the arrival of labor migrants to their village or city. You might too. Wondering if there will be a job left for you or worried that you’ll have no space to live. Maybe you think we don’t need migrant workers at all. But we have every reason to welcome them.
Without their help, companies wouldn’t be able to stay in their region. Now, those companies can maintain their production levels and that creates extra employment for everyone. We desperately need migrant workers, for example in healthcare or the logistics industry.
So let’s welcome them. Help them find good, temporary housing. A nice place to live increases happiness and limits nuisance.
Labor migration works for everyone, when we all benefit.
